E3 is well and truly underway, beginning yesterday with EA Play (a relatively weak showing, all things considered) continuing earlier today with the Xbox conference (where they did well, for the most part). Up next we have one of the more unique conferences, Bethesda’s, which promises to offer up a host of exciting, shiny new game stuff.
Up first, after a slightly gushy montage, we have Pete Hines appearing from the audience to get announcements underway (hopefully). Scratch that, he’s actually just brought Todd Howard out (the biggest round of applause so far). Acknowledgement of Fallout 76’s criticism goes down well, and claims of a game resurgent because of fan feedback are met with further applause.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is the first game out, bit of a yawn if we’re honest, but it is getting its largest update yet with a brand new dragon questline, new jobs, jewellery and a solo battle arena. All of that releases tonight. The last big bit of news is that it’s hitting the Switch, which to be fair to Blades does look like a lot of fun. Keep an eye out for that this Autumn.
Keep it locked in to GameRVW as we continue our coverage of E3.
