11:02: The Saints Row reboot is coming from Volition on February 25th, 2022. The series is keeping within its cartoonish aesthetics and over-the-top mayhem. The main character and their gang take down other rival gangs across its open world.
11:09: Marvel Midnight Suns, a new tactical RPG, from Firaxis Games coming March 2022. The game brings together faces from all over Marvel Comics plus some new faces. Firaxis developed a new character called “The Hunter” with Marvel Games that the player will be able to customize themselves. A gameplay reveal is scheduled for September 1st.
11:13: The first gameplay of Call of Duty: Vangaurd is shown off. There will be 20 maps day one and Laura Bailey is announced as main character Polina. Campaign gameplay looks like standard Call of Duty fare, with the presentation opening with a semi-stealth section. The graphics and visuals, as always, look sharp and crisp. Call of Duty: Vangaurd will be released November 5th.
11:27: Halo Infinite multiplayer shown off. A video preceded that shows off the story for Infinite’s Season 1, and both the campaign and multiplayer will be released on December 8th, 2021. The game will also launch with a Master Chief Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and a special limited edition 20th Anniversary Xbox Series X.
11:34: Cult of the Lamb coming from Massive Monster and Devolver Digital. Cute but unsettling visuals and the game appears to be a hack-and-slash, top-down.
11:37: Coming to Xbox, PC, and Xbox Game Pass is Midnight Fight Express, a violent beat-em-up, played from an isometric perspective. Coming Summer 2022.
11:39: TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge shows off that April O’Neil is set to join the fray; you can also revive team members with pizza.
11:44: Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania shows off all 12 party games. Surprisingly, Mona from Persona 5 is joining in on the proceedings.
11:46: Splitgate Season 0 is shadow dropped. The gameplay shows off all the portal-hopping gunplay that we all love. The new season is free-to-play.
11:47: Rider’s Republic from Ubisoft is given a new trailer. The beta started a few days ago and is continuing until August 28th. The game releases October 28th.
11:55: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga finally gets a new trailer after a whole year. Play all 9 films, completely re-done, with massive open worlds to explore. Coming Spring 2022.
11:58: Synced: Off-Planet is given a re-reveal from Next Studios.
11:59: The Outlast Trials from Red Barrels is premiered showing off gory and frightening multiplayer gameplay. Coming 2022.
12:01: Dokev from Pearl Abyss is shown off. The trailer shows off a vibrant and open cityscape that you can explore on bike; it looks as if what Pokemon would look like if Nintendo ever entered next-gen. Combat looks colorful and of the hack-and-slash variety.
12:05: First gameplay is shown for Jurassic World Evolution 2. The title appears to keep what worked about the first and expanding on it with bigger areas, more dinosaur types, and different types of enclosures. Releases November 9th.
12:08: A new Far Cry 6 trailer premieres. It showcases the frightening power of Anton Castillo; he looks to be the best Far Cry villain yet. Graphics look slightly improved but still with that Ubisoft quality. Gameplay, as always, looks explosive and exciting.
12:11: Blood Hunt, a Vampire: The Masquerade game, is re-revealed. The game looks rough and like your run-of-the-mill 3rd person action game. Early Access begins September 7th.
12:13: Bandai Namco reveals Park Beyond, another entry into the theme park simulation pantheon. Set to be released next year, the game gives a whimsical take on park-building with creativity of rides at the forefront.
12:15: Jett: The Far Shore returns and is set to release October 5th for PS4 and PS5. The out-of-this-world adventure blends first-person exploring with ship flying.
12:18: Horizon Forbidden West gets a surprise update and it is the delay we were all expecting with the game arriving February 18, 2022. Horizon Zero Dawn also gets shadow dropped 4K/60 fps modes, available today.
12:20: Brand new look at Amazon’s New World MMORPG; open beta set to take place from September 9th-September 12th.
12:24: Marvel Future Revolution is shown and released today for free on mobile. Many characters from across the Marvel universe will be playable.
12:29: New Tales game revealed for mobile: Tales of Lumenaria. Signature Tales combat that fans have come to know and love is put on display.
12:38: Disney and Fall Guys are teaming up again for…Jungle Book costumes, September 3-12.
12:39: Replaced gets quick update trailer.
12:40 Age of Empires IV gets a new trailer as well, showing off new ways to protect and attack other armies.
12:42: Valheim Hearth and Home, its first content update, is unveiled with a beautiful hand-drawn animated trailer.
12:50: Sifu is up next, with apparent realistic kung fu gameplay. The trailer shows off slick and punishing martial arts moves, with a nice, cartoony aesthetic. Sifu releases February 22, 2022.
12:54: In-depth video on Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. Updates are as follows, new delivery items like thrusters for gliding, a catapult for cargo, buddy-bot (he can even carry you), new facilities such as a firing range (with leaderboards), new missions and new weapons. Boss battles can be revisited and scores can be shared on the new online ranking system. New music tracks and jump ramps for the motorbikes have also been added; you can even do tricks. There is also a racing mode…Available September 24, 2021.
