Our new round up of the biggest gaming news of the week continues abound, with stories ranging from the bizarre to the brilliant. In this episode, Ben takes a look at the range of responses to the most recent tragic mass shootings in the USA, including video games coming in for a large portion of the blame and Walmart responding by removing violent game advertisements. But not guns. As well as this, the Apex Legends community was rocked as one of the calendars major tournaments was removed from the broadcasting schedule on ESPN, in the wake of the incidents.
In lighter (which wouldn’t be hard) news, we also cover the latest in the UK sales charts, which only serve to underline the somewhat drab year we’ve had for AAA releases so far. Ben also attempts to get his head around the raft of changes coming in the latest Destiny 2 update and upcoming expansion, Shadowkeep.
