The previous entries in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series were cross-platform titles, so the game being revealed as a Switch exclusive was a bit of a surprise.
The most recent game in the series was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, which released back in 2009 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. An HD remaster of the original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 was released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
