A post on the Playstation blog has confirmed new release dates for both The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. TLOU Part 2 has been delayed twice, having originally been pushed back from its February release date, and then subsequently delayed indefinitely at the start of April. The horror title is now set to launch on June 19th.
The bad news is that Ghost of Tsushima will suffer a small delay, missing its original June release date to launch on July 17th.
Naughty Dog have also responded on Twitter regarding videos showing key plot points of the upcoming title that were released online, confirming, as many suspected that the leaked footage was genuine. It is rumoured that the footage was released by a ‘disgruntled employee’ over a pay dispute, although there is no official confirmation of this.
