It has been announced that Halo 3 will be joining the other titles already released as part of the Master Chief Collection on July 14th. This leaves Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 as the final pieces of the collection.
Originally announced back in March 2019, the first two games in the series, as well as Halo: Reach, are currently available to play on the Windows platform. With a date now announced for the third iteration in the series, it seems that 343 Industries are intending to stick to their original promise of releasing the later titles by the end of the year.
The collection in its current form is currently on sale on Steam, and is also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass, so it’s a good time to jump into the action.
