An advertisement for Just Cause 4 has been spotted on Steam. The fourth game in Avalanche Studio’s Just Cause series has been rumoured for some time, but not much is known about the title. Like its predecessors, it will likely feature an expansive open-world to explore, planes to grapple onto, and many factions to fight.
The only definitive knowledge of the game comes from a Walmart leak several months ago. Other titles mentioned in said leak included Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Rage 2, and Borderlands 3. While rumors of another game in the Just Cause series have been doing the rounds for a while, the developers have been reticent about any news on that front. The image below is our first look at the game.
Once again the game appears to be set in an exotic jungle locale, and seems to follow Rico Rodriguez in his quest to topple dictatorships and turn a jungle into his personal playground. Other than that, the title remains a mystery. Presumably the game will be debuted at this year’s E3 conference, likely going up for pre-sale immediately afterwards. Steam has apparently jumped the gun and debuted it a little early, giving us a taste of what’s to come.
